Yes, you’ll need to install a full suspension kit to clear 40" tires on your truck, along with new custom wheels that are wider with a different backspacing or offset than the stock wheels. Fender, bumper or inner wheel well modifications may also be needed to prevent the tires from rubbing when turning, hitting bumps or offroading.
They range in overall diameter from 100.33 – 102.87 centimeters.

Increasing the overall tire diameter from the stock tires will decrease fuel mileage, increase braking distances, alter the handling of the vehicle, take longer to accelerate off the line, and cause the speedometer to read slower than what you’re actually going.
